I am seeking for an opportunity to work at a prestigious institution in the industry. My special interest is to contribute my effort to the betterment of human welfare.
I graduated in June ‘08 with a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology – Genetics from UC Davis, one of the most prominent universities, the only UC with College of Biological Sciences, in the academic arena of Life Sciences. I also obtained a minor in Quantitative Biology and Bioinformatics. On top of that, I have been putting together my own preparation for business through taking various classes in UC Davis, De Anza College, and UC Riverside. I believe that combining my technical, scientific domain knowledge in theories and practices with adequate professional training provides me with the means to properly assess the values, processes, and feasibilities of business ventures in the field. My plan is to gain expertise in assessing business situations and developing solutions that addresses the emerging challenges of the 21st century.
With the bilingual education that I have had as an American born Chinese, I know how important it is for Asia and the West to join effort. Therefore, I took a one year study of Life Sciences as an exchange student at National Taiwan University as well as the two summer internships in Taiwan to gain a better understanding of the commonalities and differences. With which, I have made myself a bridge between individuals holding differing perspectives and I wish to explore future collaborations across border lines.
I am a person of diverse background who envisions the future with a global perspective. I look forward to contribute my effort to co-found our future.
